brush country, family is what makes any place special. Distance can be a challenge. . .but remaining close
is what really matters, for any family.

Animals continue to be part of our extended family. Jonah is my sister Stephanie's dog.
The kids don't think he should be as high up on the page as he is--but isn't he cute?!

Did I mention the kids are really into sports? Except for following the Atlanta Braves for 30 years, I'm not athletic.
But all of the children participated in athletics of one sort or another.

The jetty at South Padre Island in February. . . wild, walls of blue water and fountains of white spray. I thought it was romantic. The kids thought it was wet.
